Another Painting I project. Well liked in critique. We were to abstract an image and use some form of texture or other material into the painting. I took an image from a photograph I took of one of the bands that played a lot in the area (Long Since Forgotten, Jeff on Guitar) and 'abstracted' it (though I had comments on how the arm looked skewed/large). In reality I didn't do that much. The colors are very similar to the photograph's stage-lighting saturation. The fun part was marking off the area where the subject was and plastering the rest of it with paper mache, the flour and water all over strips of newspaper kind.

I plan to do more like this, I do in fact have one started.
